Tips for a clearer photo
- Use even daylight, a clean lens and no beauty filters.
- Keep the camera steady. Include the tongue without the full face.
- Food or drink staining and coloured lighting can alter what you see.
- Do not force the pose or change medication for a photo.
Optional image checks
Choose a photo to check its dimensions and overall brightness.
Rough image checks, not a validated medical quality test. They cannot identify a tongue, check focus reliably or verify true colour.

What these words describe
This is a record of your choices, not an image analysis or a health finding. Lighting, camera settings and food can change how a tongue looks.

What happens to my photo?
The photo is opened and processed in this browser tab. This tool sends no photo or observation notes to a server, AI service or advertising platform, and does not save them in browser storage. “Remove photo” clears them from this page, not from your device’s photo library. Reloading or leaving the page clears this session. Hosting may receive ordinary page requests, but not your image through this tool.
What this first version can and cannot do
It previews and crops your photo, measures image dimensions and overall brightness, and records your own selections. It does not recognise tongues, interpret symptoms, assess constitution or give treatment advice. Unrelated photos can also pass these image checks. Terminology standards explain words; they do not validate this tool.
